Celtic V Hearts Predicted Xi As Brendan Considers Including New Signings

Celtic v Hearts: Predicted XI as Brendan considers including new signings

Celtic face Hearts at Tynecastle on Sunday in the Scottish Premiership, with Brendan Rodgers set to make a decision on whether to include new signings Olivier Ntcham and Patrick Roberts in his starting line-up.

The Hoops have made a perfect start to the season, winning their opening two games without conceding a goal, and will be looking to continue their good form against Hearts.

Rodgers has a number of selection dilemmas ahead of the game, with Ntcham and Roberts both pushing for a starting spot.

Ntcham, a £4.5million signing from Manchester City, is a central midfielder who can also play on the wing, while Roberts, a £12million signing from Fulham, is a winger who can also play as a striker.

If Rodgers decides to include both players in his starting line-up, it could mean that either Scott Brown or Tom Rogic will have to drop to the bench.

Brown has been Celtic's captain for the past six years and is a key player for Rodgers, but he has been struggling with a knee injury in recent weeks.

Rogic, meanwhile, has been in excellent form for Celtic this season, scoring two goals in two games.

Another option for Rodgers would be to play Ntcham and Roberts in a more advanced role, with Brown and Rogic playing in central midfield.

This would allow Celtic to field a more attacking team, but it would also mean that they would be less solid defensively.

Whatever team Rodgers decides to field, Celtic will be confident of getting a positive result against Hearts.

The Hoops have a good record against their Edinburgh rivals, winning the last three meetings between the two sides.

Hearts, meanwhile, have made a poor start to the season, losing their opening two games.

The Jambos will be looking to bounce back against Celtic, but they will need to improve their form if they want to avoid a third straight defeat.
